<p>Bicep Tendonitis is a condition that affects the area between the bicep muscles, where it meets the front of the shoulder. It hardly occurs on it own and often Bicep Tendonitis is often called as bicipital tendonitis. Athletes are most common people who suffer from bicep tendonitis. It develops because of a rotator cuff tendonitis. Bicep tendonitis is mostly ignored in the early stage and develops into a serious complication.</p>
<p>Symptoms of Bicep Tendonitis</p>
<p>The most common symptoms of Bicep Tendonitis is as follows</p>
<p>(a) There will some pain when you move your shoulder or arm.</p>
<p>(b) There will be pain if you raise your arm above your shoulder.</p>
<p>(c) When your shoulder is touched you will feel the pain.</p>

Many of these health problems can deteriorate a person&rsquo;s quality of life and even shorten a person&rsquo;s life. One such health condition that is made worse when obese is asthma. Studies are now showing that there is a link between asthma and morbid obesity. For people who are suffering from severe obesity, lap band surgery has been shown to be an effective method of weight loss that reduces instances of severe asthma attacks.</p>
<p>Obesity has been proven to be a risk factor for such diseases as heart disease, some types of cancer, and diabetes. Now, research studies are revealing that obesity is a risk factor for asthma. For instance, studies now show the risk for developing asthma increases when there is a large increase in weight. When a person is seriously overweight, their breathing becomes shallow because their lungs do not expand as much as it would if one were a normal healthy weight. Deep veins pass through the center of your leg and surrounded by a layer of muscle. When blood clots form in superficial veins that lie just beneath the skin, the condition is called superficial thrombophlebitis. These types of blood clots are different from DVT and are much less severe.</p>
<p>Many blood clots that cause DVT are small and produce no symptoms. Your body is usually able to finish them off little by little, without long-term effects. DVT can cause other problems, but possible complications include the following. This is serious and the cases can be very serious.</p>
<p>This will happen if the DVT will damage the valves in the deep veins, therefore instead of flowing upwards, blood will stay in the lower leg. This can finally lead to swelling, long-term pain and in severe cases, ulcers in the leg. The risk is primarily the result for sitting long time, which can occur during any type of long distance travel, whether by car, bus, train or air. In general, the risk of developing DVT while traveling is very small unless you have at least one of the above risk factors (such as cancer or history of DVT). If this is the case, you should talk to your doctor before traveling on a flight of more than four hours.</p>
<p>Anticoagulant medications are the standard treatment for DVT. Anticoagulants include warfarin and heparin. You can also find numerous things, which will help you in reducing the risk of this condition. For example, the people who smoke will be able to see great changes once they quit smoking. In the same way, if you are overweight, it is necessary to reduce your weight as it can affect the treatment, which you undergo for this problem. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We all want to be respected by others. And, we would all love to have control over whether or not others treat us respectfully. Is this realistic?</p>
<p>Nigel, one of my clients, has a lot of confusion about this issue. He believes that people, especially his wife and children, &#8220;should&#8221; be respectful to him, and he gets very angry when they treat him disrespectfully - which they often do.</p>
<p>What Nigel has failed to understand - which is what led him to seek my help - is that others are often a mirror of how we treat ourselves.</p>
<p>Much of my work with Nigel has centered around becoming aware of the many ways he disrespects himself and what would be respectful to himself.</p>
<p>EMOTIONALLY:</p>
<p>* He often judges his own feelings, discounting his feelings and telling himself that he &#8220;shouldn&#8217;t&#8221; feel this way.</p>
<p>* He often ignores his feelings, staying focused in his head instead of his body, and turning to addictions, such as sugar and TV to numb his feelings.</p>
<p>* He sees himself as a victim of others&#8217; choices, making others responsible for his feelings rather than taking responsibility for his own pain and joy.</p>
<p>PHYSICALLY:</p>
<p>* He often stays up late watching TV, disrespecting his need for adequate sleep.</p>
<p>* He often grabs junk food, not taking the time to eat well, disrespecting his body&#8217;s need for good nutrition.</p>
<p>* He doesn&#8217;t take the time to exercise so he is out of shape, disrespecting his need for a strong and healthy body.</p>
<p>* He dresses poorly, even to the point of wearing socks with holes in them, and often wearing dirty or wrinkled clothes, disrespecting his inner desire for clean and appropriate clothing.</p>
<p>ORGANIZATIONALLY:</p>
<p>* He is often late, disrespecting his inner desire to get places on time and not be stressed about it.</p>
<p>* His desk is often a mess, disrespecting his inner desire for order in his life.</p>
<p>FINANCIALLY:</p>
<p>* He does not balance his checkbook and is often overdrawn at the bank, much to the distress of his wife.</p>

<p>These are just a few of the ways that Nigel has learned to disrespect himself. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>With jobs to go to, kids to put to bed, homework to check, dishes to get done, and wives to spend time with, it&#8217;s really difficult for busy dads to squeeze in a workout. For example, I have a 3 year old son, a working wife, and a number of business ventures I&#8217;m involved in. To say my life is hectic is an understatement.</p>
<p>The easiest way I&#8217;ve found to stay in shape is to practice body weight exercises. They probably won&#8217;t bulk you up as quickly as lifting weights, but if pushups, situps, dips, and pullups are good enough for army commandos, then they&#8217;re good enough for me.</p>
<p>Here are some reasons why you should be doing body weight exercises:</p>
<p>Speed - Body weight and isometric exercises are fast. It is said that an isometric contraction can last for as little as 7 seconds for you to start benefiting from it. When done properly, isometrics recruit more muscle fibers than isolated exercises, and the more muscle fibers that are used, the more you build up your strength. Your workout can be completed in just half an hour.</p>
<p>Effectiveness - If you&#8217;re wondering how effective body weight exercises are, just ask the firemen, police officers, and elite fighters who do them on a daily basis. They won&#8217;t be the biggest guys you&#8217;ve ever seen, but they&#8217;ll be among the strongest. And that&#8217;s the only thing that matters. If you feel like you&#8217;re starting to plateau, you can add weights, increase the reps, do variations, etc. You can use weighted vests to add more resistance to your situps, pullups, etc.</p>
<p>Efficiency - What could be better than free? Body weight exercises are both effective and economical. Just think, you can finally start saving for that pony your daughter has always wanted! Not only are isometrics and body weight exercises financially efficient, they are time efficient. In certain styles of martial arts there is a strong emphasis on &#8220;economy of movement&#8221;, meaning you shouldn&#8217;t exert a lot of energy on something if you don&#8217;t have to. Focus on the task before you and get it done with an appropriate amount of effort.</p>
<p>Mobility - You can do body weight exercises anywhere. We all have cell phones and laptops, so we know how important it is to be able to move around. Why should we rely on exercise equipment and gyms? It&#8217;s a lot easier to do situps and pushups in the basement or living room than it is to drive to the gym and wait around for equipment to be free. Once you&#8217;ve learnt some of the exercises, you&#8217;ll see how easy they are to fit into your daily routine.</p>
<p>Obviously, weight training is important if you want to get stronger and build lots of muscle. If we could spend an hour in the gym everyday we would. But with a lifestyle that that has to accommodate so many non-exercise related tasks, body weight training is the best route for the rest of us.</p>
